As a secondary librarian and English teacher, I transitioned to a position as curriculum specialist for an Ohio Ed Tech. There I discovered a new passion for education…online learning. My work focused on developing workshops and online classes blending curriculum and technology. After eight years with the ed tech, I retired and relocated to be closer to family; however, retirement was not what I expected.

With the advent of Web 2.0 tools, and seeing the classroom possibilities, I felt an obligation to transition back to education to share the tools, strategies, and implementation possibilities for these wonderful, and mostly FREE resources.

While I have resumed developing online courses for the ed tech, my quest to share Web 2.0 has taken me to the blogosphere, where I hope you find the unique capabilities of these marvelous tools and the excitement they can bring to your students about learning.
